Liposuction
Liposuction is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to remove excess fat deposits from specific areas of the body, helping to achieve a more contoured and proportionate appearance. It is not a weight-loss solution but rather a body sculpting technique.
Procedure
Liposuction is performed using a thin tube called a cannula, which is inserted through small incisions to suction out unwanted fat. Common areas treated include:
- Abdomen
- Thighs
- Hips
- Arms
- Back
- Chin & Neck
There are different techniques of liposuction, including:
- Traditional Liposuction – Manual suction of fat using a cannula.
- Laser-Assisted Liposuction – Uses laser energy to liquefy fat before removal.
- Vaser Liposuction – Uses ultrasound technology for more precise fat removal.
Recovery
Post-surgery, following the correct aftercare routine is crucial for smooth healing and achieving the best results.
